Inviting volunteers for emergency response in Lalitpur, Nepal

RICOD is inviting national and/or international interns and volunteers for emergency response. A recent torrential rain has taken the lives of people and very badly damaged the houses, cowsheds, and farmlands of the farmers of Lalitpur district, mostly in the southern part of Ricod's project areas. 

This rain caused a lot of havoc in Lalitpur district, taking the lives of an estimated 40 people, and 10 people have been found lost so far. It is also believed that many people are buried by debris. Electricity and communication systems are totally broken down, and roads are totally unpassable.
